  • Acting for the Climate Change Unit, Ministry of Water & Environment (Uganda) & Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to develop a Position Paper on Legal and Institutional Reform for Climate Change Policy Implementation in Uganda (2014).
  • Acting for the Legal Response Initiative (LRI), a UK based organization to provide legal support to negotiation teams of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) during United Nations climate change meetings (2012 to date).
  • Acting for Camco, a leading global clean energy consulting firm, to provide consultancy services, in respect of a CDM capacity building project implemented by the Climate Change Unit, Ministry of Water and Environment with the support of the Belgian Government (2012).
  • Acting for WWF Uganda in respect of a consultancy assignment involving the preparation of an Assessment Report on the Capacity Needs of Climate Change Stakeholders in Uganda (2011).
  • Acting for GFA Envest, a leading German consulting firm, in respect of a consultancy assignment involving Scoping CDM Sector Potentials and their Support Needs in Uganda- Energetic Use of Wood Residues & Energy Efficiency through Power Factor Correction Programme (2011).
  • Acting for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in respect of a consultancy assignment involving the preparation of the National Project Document for the Ecosystem Based Climate Change Adaptation Programme (EBA), a joint initiative of UNEP, UNDP and IUCN (2011).
  • Acting for Camco, a leading global clean energy consulting firm, as national consultant in respect of a consultancy assignment “Formulation of a Climate Change Master Plan for the East African Community” (2011).
  • Acting for German Development Cooperation (GIZ) to prepare a consultancy report on the Analysis of Ugandan carbon market and identification of recommendations for interventions by German Development Cooperation through the CDM-Initiative (2010).
  • Acting for the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP) to conduct training for local government planners on integrating climate change into development planning (2010).
  • Acting for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) to provide consultancy services relating to the design and implementation of climate change programmes by the African Union (2009).
  • Acting for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to facilitate and organize a training workshop for climate change negotiators in Uganda (2009).
  • Acting for the Royal Danish Embassy Kampala to provide consultancy services relating to the development of a climate change policy for Uganda and improving Uganda’s effective participation in international climate change negotiations and meetings (2008).
  • Acting for the Royal Danish Embassy Kampala to provide consultancy services relating to the strengthening of the Institutional Mechanism for coordinating climate change activities in Uganda (2008).
  • Acting for the Environmental Law Resources Centre to provide consultancy services in respect of a consultancy assignment commissioned by the World Bank “Kick-Starting the CDM Designated National Authority (DNA) in Uganda” (2007).
  • Acting for German Development Cooperation (GIZ) to provide consultancy services in respect of the assignment “Research on the Status Quo of CDM in relation to Energy in Uganda” (2007).
  • Acting for Baker & McKenzie, a leading global law firm, to provide legal advice on the legality of enforceability of Greenhouse Gas Sale Agreements in relation to TIST Forestry Projects (2007).
  • Acting for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to prepare a consultancy report on Promoting Sustainable Charcoal Production in Luwero and Nakasongola Districts (2007).
  • The firm’s founding Partner (Bernard Namanya) has previously acted as a member of the Compliance Committee of the Kyoto Protocol, body of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) (2006-2009).
  • Pro-bono assistance to the Ministry of Water and Environment of the Republic of Uganda in the formulation of Rules of Procedure of the National Climate Change Steering Committee (2006).
  • Pro-bono assistance to the Ministry of Water and Environment of the Republic of Uganda in drafting a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Uganda and CDM Project Participants (2006).
